Our rates
Consulting, Support and Troubleshooting
- Remote (online and/or telephone) Consulting, Support, and Troubleshooting start at $200.00 for the first hour, with additional hours ranging from $175.00 to $225.00 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments, with a 1-hour minimum required for all customers. A 1-hour fee must be paid in advance for new customers before any work is performed.
- On-site Consulting, Support, and Troubleshooting are available only in Toronto and the GTA. The first hour starts at $275.00, with additional hours ranging from $175.00 to $225.00 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments, with a 1-hour minimum required for all customers. A 1-hour fee must be paid in advance for new customers before any work is performed.
- Rates vary by complexity of the project.
- Estimates can be given up front, if a clearly defined scope of work is provided.
- Minimum 2 hour appointment may be required to discuss larger/more complex projects.
- Any work performed outside of normal business hours (9:00am to 6:00pm EST) or on holidays will be billed at a 1.75x rate.
Deployment
- The cost of physical labor (equipment and infrastructure installation, upgrades, etc.) starts at $175.00 for the first hour per person. Additional hours are billed at $125.00 per hour per technician, with time billed in 30-minute increments and a 2-hour minimum required for all customers. A 2-hour fee must be paid in advance for new customers before any work is performed.
- The cost of Commissioning, Configuring, and Reconfiguring for Deployed Solutions starts at $275.00 for the first hour, with additional hours billed at $225.00 per hour. Time is billed in 30-minute increments, with a 1-hour minimum required for all customers.
- Larger projects can be undertaken based on the provided quotes.
Note: Services avaiable in Toronto and GTA area only.
Warranty
- Due to the nature of the services involving OEM software, firmware, and hardware, no warranty is provided on hourly work, including service packages, which are considered hourly work.
- Each hour that we work is billable regardless of the outcome of said work.
- New deployments includes a 1 year limited warranty for the physical labor.
UniFi Basic Package (UBP)
Scope of Service
- LAN & VLAN Setup – up to 4 VLANs (segmentation for devices, work, IoT, etc.)
- WLAN Setup – up to 4 SSIDs with best practices (guest, IoT, private, work)
- Switching Optimization – STP/RSTP configuration for up to 2 UniFi switches
- Wi-Fi Optimization – channel, TX power, and band steering for up to 4 UniFi access points
- Multicast DNS (mDNS) – enable discovery for Apple, Chromecast, Sonos, and smart devices
- DNS Management – custom DNS, ad-blocking, and DNS security options
- Cybersecurity Baseline – content filtering & intrusion prevention (up to 6 rules)
- Firewall Rules – up to 4 rules for traffic segmentation and access control
- Firmware & Console Check – update UniFi devices and backup configuration
- Documentation & Handover – summary of network, VLANs, and credentials
Service Duration
Up to 3 hours total (including remote prep & on-site time). If the duration is exceeded, the standard hourly rate will apply.

- $500 + HST — Remote session
UniFi Pro Package (UPP)
Scope of Service
- Everything in Basic
- ISP Router Bypass - Access to Public IP
- LAN & VLAN Setup – up to 6 VLANs
- WLAN Setup – up to 6 SSIDs, Private Pre-Shared Keys
- Switching Optimization – spanning tree & redundancy for up to 4 UniFi switches
- Wi-Fi Optimization – configuration for up to 6 UniFi access points
- Cybersecurity Enhanced – content filtering & intrusion prevention (up to 12 rules)
- Firewall Rules – up to 8 rules
- VPN Setup – OpenVPN, WireGuard, UniFi Teleport or Site-to-Site VPN (VPN Server setup requires Publik IP)
- Smart Device Segmentation – IoT isolation (CCTV, smart home, etc.)
- Advanced DNS – filtering, local overrides, caching
- Follow-Up Remote Health Check – One (1) session included within 30 days of the service date
- Firmware & Console Check – update UniFi devices and backup configuration
- Documentation & Handover – summary of network, VLANs, and credentials
Service Duration
Up to 4 hours total (including remote prep & on-site time). If the duration is exceeded, the standard hourly rate will apply.

Service Terms & Conditions
Scope of Work
- Services are provided as per the selected package and within the defined service duration.
- Any work outside the listed scope or exceeding allocated hours will be billed at the current hourly rate.
Hardware & Installation Requirements
- All hardware must be pre-installed, powered, and properly cabled prior to service.
- The service provider is not responsible for physical installation, cable termination, or equipment placement (including access point locations and coverage performance).
Warranty Disclaimer
- Due to the nature of the services involving OEM software, firmware, and hardware, no warranty is provided on hourly work, including service packages, which are considered hourly work.
Post-Service Modifications
- Any changes or modifications made by the client or third parties after service completion remove all responsibilities from the service provider regarding performance, functionality, or security of the system.
Travel & Location Limitations
- On-site services are included within a 10 km radius of postal code M4C 4Z1.
- Additional mileage will be subject to a surcharge of $1.40 per km.
Add-Ons & Extended Services
- Optional services such as UniFi Protect, UniFi Access, UniFi Talk, 24/7 monitoring, and endpoint security may be provided at additional cost.
- Add-ons do not alter the base service terms unless explicitly stated in writing.
